This three-day workshop and conference focusssed on infrastructures of publishing and critique in (and of) modern art, with a special focus on the Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and the broader transnational relations those ocmmnities were involved in. It examined transregional networks, material conditions, institutions, and relationships that shaped and enabled forms of publication and criticism in the field of art.
It has been convcened as part fo the 5-year European research porject, '(Un)Mapping Infrastructures: Transnational Perspectives on Modern Art, 1900-1970' directed by Gregor Langfeld, in cooperation with the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb and Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb.
